Reception in Celebration of India’s Republic Day
Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Thailand Mr. Anil Wadha hosted a reception to celebrate the 62nd Anniversary of the Republic Day of India at Plaza Athénée Bangkok, A Royal Méridien Hotel. There was a fashion show of high couture and textiles from India, live demonstration of traditional crafts by artisans from diverse regions of India performing throughout the evening. Among the guests of honour are General Teeradej Meepien, President of the Senate and Police General Vichien Pojposri, Secreatary- General, National Security Council of Thailand.
