Portugal – Thailand Close Glances
The year 2011 is significant for both Thailand and Portugal, as it marks the 500th anniversary of Thai-Portuguese relations.
In order to celebrate this special occasion, a series of commemorative events and activities have been organized throughout this year. To commemorate this auspicious occasion this year, the governments of both Thailand and Portugal have organized year- long activities.

HE. Dr. Jorge Torres-Pereira, Ambassador of Portugal to Thailand presided over the Art Exhibition “Portugal – Thailand, Close Glances” by Sarawanee Jinayon and E. Moura Fragoso at Motion Hall, The Emporium on Thursday, October 27, 2011. The proceeds from the sales of the T-shirt designed by Sarawanee Jinayon, Thai artist, will go to relief efforts for flood victims in Thailand.
